The product contains no rubber, latex, or PVC and will not rot or crumble over time. It is safe for all flooring types and will not damage any hard flooring surface. The rug pad does not require any special tools for installation and can be cut to fit any application using household scissors. The product is made of polyester fibers and coated on both sides with a specially formulated water-based, pressure-sensitive dry adhesive that will outperform pads coated with a plain polymeric-acrylic resin.
